Flags planted to honor veterans

In recognition of Memorial Day on Monday, volunteers young and old planted flags in Calvary Cemetery in Butler on Saturday, May 18.

American Legion Post 117 provided the flags and rustled up willing participants to honor the veterans’ service by placing the flags near their headstones.
