Lawsuit ignores personal responsibility

After reading the article “Biker’s estate sues bar,” why stop there? Why not sue the bike company for selling the bike? Why not sue PennDOT for making the bend in the road? If we’re going to be sue-happy, why not go after everybody?

I do feel sorry for the families having to deal with this. Maybe people haven’t heard the saying, “To be a man you have to own up to your actions and responsibilities.” If people lived by that motto, this country would be a whole lot better.

I go to Otto’s Tavern. I don’t drink. I go there because the people are friendly and the food is great. Darryl, the owner, is one of the nicest people you’d ever want to meet. As busy as he is, he takes the time to volunteer in the community as well. Is he the type of person you would want to sue out of business?
