Stevenson Road closure postponed indefinitely
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced on Monday, May 13, that the closure of Stevenson Road for construction, planned for Tuesday, has been delayed to a date yet to be determined.
The planned closure would allow for the PA 68 Corridor Improvement Project, which is intended to increase safety and reduce congestion along State Route 68 in Butler and Connoquenessing townships. The project includes signal replacements, turn lane installation and corridor improvements, and is estimated to finish in November 2025 at a cost of $18.7 million.
PennDOT promises it will send out more information when it becomes available.
