Weibel

Jean L. Weibel, 94 of Queenstown, Perry Township, died Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Sunnyview Center.

Born Nov. 22, 1929, in Bradys Bend, she was the daughter of Frank J. and Ada (Schott) McClaine.

A 1948 graduate of East Brady High School, she married LaVerne Weibel on Oct. 16, 1950. He preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 2001.

Jean enjoyed watching “Wheel of Fortune” nightly, caring for her pets and always stayed up to date on politics. She enjoyed a good political debate and looked forward to her weekly phone calls with her sister.

Jean is survived by two sons, LaVerne C. Weibel of Indiana, Pa., and Ronald V. Weibel of Karns City. She is also survived by one brother, Rodney McClaine of North Washington; and one sister, Kathleen (Jack) Healy of Seneca.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; six brothers, Charles, George, Ronald, Frank, James and William McClaine; and one sister; Ruth Libecco.

WEIBEL — Services for Jean L. Weibel, who died Saturday, May 4, 2024, will be private.

Burial will be in St. Eusebius Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of BUECHELE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, East Brady.
