Michele M. (Jockel) Nugent, 65, of Middlesex Township, Valencia, peacefully passed away in the comfort of her home with her husband, James Stoebener, by her side on Tuesday morning, April 30, 2024.

Born in Pittsburgh on June 27, 1958, she was the daughter of Nancy L. Jockel and the late Paul J. Jockel.

Michele loved animals, dancing and the times she shared with her family. She had been a supervisor at FireDEX for a number of years. She also owned a craft shop, Time-N-Talent, formerly of Middlesex Township. She attended many local shows selling her crafts while displaying her vast imagination and creativity. Michele ran her own cleaning business consisting of many clients who treated her like family, including her in holidays and family gatherings. She also worked at Goodwill assessing the value of and pricing donated items. Michele’s generosity led her to volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul.

In addition to her husband, whom she married on Feb. 1, 2002, Michele is survived by her canine companion, Daisy; her mother, Nancy (Ague) Jockel of Valencia; three sisters, Kimberly Blackburn of Valencia, Stacey (Mike) McKeon in Tennessee and Dena (Aaron) Rieger in Middlesex Township; a brother, Kevin (Sharon) Jockel of Evans City; also aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

NUGENT — A private service is planned for Michele M. (Jockel) Nugent, who died Tuesday, April 30, 2024.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the UPMC Cancer Center or to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.

Arrangements are under the direction of MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.
