QUAKERTOWN — After being no-hit earlier in the day, Slippery Rock University’s softball team saw its season come to an end with a 6-4 loss to Gannon in the double-elimination PSAC Tournament on Wednesday.

Bloomsburg’s Callie Sowers struck out 15 in a 1-0 win over SRU on Wednesday morning. The loss to Gannon ends SRU’s season at 25-27 overall, 18-13 in the PSAC West. Alexsa Hurd took the loss against Gannon, striking out five in five innings.
