We want to hear your voice. What do you enjoy reading in the Butler Eagle? What would you like to see more of, and what would you rather we covered less often or didn’t cover at all?

As our team goes about reporting on events in Butler County and the surrounding region, we think it's important to make intentional time to listen to our readers. We want to ensure we are representing the interests and needs of our community — you and your neighbors.

That's why we've launched the Local Voices survey. You can complete this short 10-question survey anytime between now and May 10 at https://tally.so/r/n9WeQp, or look for a copy in the Thursday, April 25, print edition.

The survey asks questions such as “Why do you read the Butler Eagle?” “How well do you feel the Butler Eagle represents the community?” and “What would you like to see more of from the Butler Eagle?”

Open-ended questions might prompt you to tell us how you feel we could improve as a community news source.

You may submit your answers anonymously, or you can include your email for a chance to win a Butler Eagle vintage T-shirt. We'll be choosing a few winners.

The one thing we do ask: Be honest. We will use your feedback to inform how we go about reporting on Butler County. So, for example, tell us if you enjoy reading sports stories or if you look forward to seeing the Time Capsule that features pictures from years ago.
