Wissinger

Sharon A. Wissinger, 73, of Saxonburg, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Allegheny General Hospital.

Born Aug. 27, 1950, in Natrona Heights, she was the daughter of Paul Rieger and Dorothy Beckwith Rieger.

Sharon worked as a dietary manager for Saxony Health Center, retiring in 2017 after 37 years. She enjoyed spending time with family and traveling across the U.S. with Ken to attend softball tournaments.

Surviving are her husband, Kenneth Wissinger, whom she married Aug. 24, 1968; her daughter, Sandra (Thomas) Fritch of Kittanning; one sister, Trenece (Gary) Wisnick of Natrona Heights; four grandchildren, Kashmir, Derek, Amber and Brandon; and two great-grandchildren, Kenleigh and Layna.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Paul Rieger; and one son, Kenneth P. Wissinger

WISSINGER — Friends of Sharon A. Wissinger, who died Wednesday, April 10, 2024, will be received noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. with Ronald Johns officiating.

Private interment will follow in Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.
