Public hearing on Matilda Fields residential development tabled
ADAMS TWP — A public hearing on the proposed Matilda Fields planned residential development has been delayed for the time being.
A date and time for a public hearing would have been set during the township’s supervisors meeting Monday, April 8, but the board tabled it.
Board chairman Russell Ford said the hearing has been delayed due to a lack of information.
“The board’s obviously concerned that it’s not ready for us to even talk about,” Ford said. “Half of this board didn't even know where it was because they don’t know what it is.”
The development came before the township planning commission Wednesday and is proposed to be built off Forsythe Road.
Ford says that a public hearing must be held on the proposed development by August, otherwise the development will be automatically approved.
