College Notes

ANTHONY KAMENSKI (Karns City) was a runner-up in both hurdle events as Westminster College participated in the Slippery Rock University Invitational on Saturday.

Kamenski’s time in the 110-meter hurdles was 15.07 seconds and his mark in the 400-meter event was 55.54.

AIDAN DOMENCIC (Seneca Valley) notched a sixth-place time in the 3000-meter steeplechase (9:56.73) at Slippery Rock University’s Dave Labor Invitational on Saturday. Joining him with solid performances were Penn State Behrend teammates ALEX COTTON (Knoch) and MATTHEW LASLAVIC (Seneca Valley). Cotton placed 12th in the shot put with a distance of 47 feet, 2 1/4 inches, while Laslavic was eighth in the javelin (167-1).

JENNA ZENDRON (Moniteau), a freshman at Westminster College, finished eighth in the 100 meters at SRU’s Dave Labor Invitational on Saturday. Her time was 12.89 seconds.

MEGAN WISE (Moniteau), a sophomore at Grove City College, grabbed 10th in the shot put at the SRU Invitational with a best of 36-6 1/2.

BRADY PAGE (Seneca Valley), a sophomore attack on Westminster College’s men’s lacrosse team, tallied a pair of goals in the Titans’ 18-11 loss at Allegheny College Saturday night. JORDEN TATE (Seneca Valley), a classmate of Page’s and the Titans’ starting goalkeeper, made nine saves in 22 minutes of play.

EMMA BALDWIN (North Catholic), a freshman defender for Westminster’s girls lacrosse team, forced a pair of turnovers in a 16-5 road loss to Allegheny College on Saturday.
