The state Department of Transportation and Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful are accepting applications from interested 10th, 11th and 12th graders for the Young Ambassadors of Pennsylvania program.

The program seeks to make its young recruits into community leaders who recognize the importance of keeping Pennsylvania’s environment clean, and will train participants on such topics as litter prevention, waste management, volunteer management and social media marketing.

Applications for the program are being accepted Monday, April 1 through Monday, June 10.
