College notes

ANTHONY KAMENSKI (Karns City) placed third in the 400-meter hurdles and fifth in the 110-meter hurdles for Westminster at West Liberty University’s third annual Tim Weaver Invitational. His times were 55.78 seconds and 15.95 seconds.

AUTUMN PETTINATO (Butler) placed third overall in the javelin and second among non-Division I competitors for Clarion at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational. Her distance was 36.45 meters.

ALEX COTTON (Knoch) placed fifth in the discus with a throw of 129 feet, 2 inches for Penn State Behrend at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational.

MATTHEW LASLAVIC (Seneca Valley) won the javelin for Behrend at the Carnegie Mellon Invite with a throw of 178 feet, 6 inches.

AIDAN DOMENCIC (Seneca Valley) placed ninth for Behrend in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Carnegie Mellon Invite. His time was 9 minutes, 55.97 seconds.

BRADY PAGE (Seneca Valley) scored two goals for Westminster in the Titans’ 10-6 men’s lacrosse victory over Chatham.

JORDEN TATE (Seneca Valley) made seven saves and had one ground ball in Westminster’s men’s lacrosse victory. It was Tate’s first Presidents’ Athletic Conference win.

ABBY ROTTMAN (Moniteau) had two hits, includng a double, and scored a run in Thiel’s 4-1 softball win over Washington & Jefferson.

RYLEE LONG (Moniteau) ran a leg of Penn State Behrend’s 4x100 relay team, which paced fifth at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational.

JENNA ZENDRON (Moniteau) placed sixth in the 400 meters for Westminster with a personal-best time of of 1 minute, 1.2 seconds at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational.
