The Eggstravanza on Sunday, March 24, at Mars Area High School raised about $777 through donations, which will go to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Meghan Boland, faculty adviser for the high school’s student council, said the event, which featured activity booths set up and run by students in the council, also saw more than 200 people attend throughout the day.

The reward for most of the games and activities at the event was Easter candy and small toys. The Eggstravaganza was free to attend, but there were places for people to donate to St. Jude, which is how the event gathered donations.
