BRADENTON — Chase Anderson retired all nine hitters he faced on Tuesday as the Pirates defeated the Baltimore Orioles, 5-1, in Grapefruit League play.

Anderson has tossed seven scoreless innings this spring.

Oneil Cruz homered for the fourth time in his last five at-bats. Jack Suwinski and Billy McKinney homered for the Pirates as well.

Pittsburgh limited Baltimore to two hits on the day. The Pirates play Toronto at 1:05 p.m. Wednesday in Dunedin.
