The Pittsburgh North Regional Chamber of Commerce has announced the recipients of its 2023-24 Community Champion Awards, which recognize people and organizations whose work benefits their local communities.
Jack Cohen, executive director of the Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau, who has helped drive economic development to the area, was honored in the Individual Category.
Fun Fore All Family Fun Park in Cranberry Township was honored in the Small Business Category, while HEARTH, a provider of supportive services and housing for homeless families who are survivors of domestic violence or other trauma was honored in the Nonprofit Category.
“Our local communities are thriving in part because of the dedication and commitment of our residents and businesses,” Jim Boltz, president of the chamber said. “This year, we received over 50 nominations, making the selection process incredibly challenging. We are honored to recognize three outstanding individuals and organizations for their contributions.”
