Melvin Clark
Melvin “Buzz” Carl Clark, 73, of Butler, formerly of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away the afternoon of Monday, Feb. 26, 2024, in the comfort of his home after a battle with cancer.
Born on June 17, 1950, in Hamilton, Ohio, Buzz was the son of the late Harlan and Ruth Rowlette (Griggs) Clark.
Buzz was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served two tours during the Vietnam War. He served as a Chaplain for the Marine Corps League for many years. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion. Buzz retired from US Foods as a meat cutter. He loved playing his guitar, banjo and mandolin and he loved singing. His greatest joy was spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as his grand-pup, Crosby.
Buzz is survived by his wife, Marcella “Marsha” (Morabito) Clark, whom he married on May 7, 1989; two daughters, April Kelly Turman of Hamilton, Ohio, and Tonya Jo (Steve) Hudson of Fairfield, Ohio; two sons, Adam Robert-Carl (Natalie) Clark of Hooker and Charles E. (Jody) Pflugh Jr. of Eau Claire; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He also is survived by one brother, Robert C. (Carolyn) Clark, of Cincinnati, Ohio.
CLARK — A celebration of life service in honor of Melvin “Buzz” Carl Clark, who died Monday, Feb. 26, 2024, will be held at a later date.
