Joseph Neigh
Joseph E. Neigh, 84, of Butler, passed away Sunday, Feb. 25, 2024, at Allegheny General Hospital.
Born in Butler on Sept. 7, 1939, he was a son of the late Leonard V. and Helen V. Graham Neigh.
Joe was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
A retired plumbing contractor, he was a partner at Neigh Brothers Plumbing for more than 50 years.
He was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, where he was an usher for 60 years.
Joe belonged to the Butler Rotary Club for 25 years and was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus. He volunteered at Butler Catholic School, and he provided his extensive plumbing and HVAC knowledge and experience as a volunteer to the maintenance staff of Butler YWCA.
Joe was also an automobile enthusiast who loved Ford cars.
He is survived by his wife, Judith A. Kieszkowski Neigh, to whom he was married for 61 years; three children, Stephen J. Neigh and his wife, Carla, of Stafford, Va., Mary Jo Seybert of Butler and Jeffrey J. Neigh and his wife, Jessica, of Laredo, Texas; six grandchildren, Thomas, Jacob, Katie, Natalie, Chloe and Isaac; five siblings, Paul Neigh and his wife, Vonnie, of Butler, Eileen Kuciak of Butler, Marilyn Rodgers of Butler, David Neigh and his wife, Marg, of Butler and George Neigh of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by one brother, Lenny Neigh; two brothers-in-law; and one sister-in-law.
NEIGH — Friends of Joseph E. Neigh, who died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2024, will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, at MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 429 Center Ave., Butler.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at All Saints Parish, St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St., Butler, with the Rev. Kevin C. Fazio officiating.
Burial will take place in Saint Peters Cemetery.
