Brady Sullivan scored 17 points and Brian Kijowski added 16 for Freeport, but the Yellowjackets dropped a 93-63 decision to Lincoln Park in the first round of the WPIAL Class 4A boys basketball playoffs Friday night.

Thomas Meleek netted 27 points for Lincoln Park, which led by five points after one quarter, 15 points at halftime and 28 points through three quarters.

Top-seed Lincoln Park (19-3) won its 12th straight game will play Knoch — a 52-48 winner over Beaver — in the quarterfinal round. Freeport ended its season at 7-16.

Freeport’s Mackensie Livingston made the all-tournament team, rolling a 203 game and 580 series during the WPIBL Girls Team Championships on Thursday at Belle Vernon.

The Yellowjackets placed third in the team standings, trailing champion Plum and Norwin. Freeport and Butler are among the teams advancing to the regional competition. The Golden Tornado were fifth after three games in the team standings.

Kelsee McConnell led Butler with a 205-566. Freeport had three other bowlers among the top 15: Olivia Svitek 10th (213-565), Kylie McConahy 12th (202-563) and Hannah Windows (13th) 209-547).
