Andrew W. “Drew” Kuehn, 77, of Renfrew, unexpectedly passed away at his residence on Monday, Feb. 12, 2024.

Born March 31, 1946, in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Theodore “Ted” and Edna Parker Kuehn.

He was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.

Drew graduated from Grove City College in 1968 and moved to Butler.

He was employed as a French teacher in the Butler Area School District from 1968 to 2017. Drew was also a musician at St. Michael Church, and he taught private piano and guitar lessons.

In addition to sharing his musical talents, Drew loved all things French. He enjoyed entertaining and traveling. Above all, he was devoted to God, his family and his friends.

He is survived by his sister, Marilyn Dean and her husband, Don; two nieces, Christine Kerin and her husband, Dave, and Catherine Close and her husband, Dan; one nephew, Douglas Dean and his wife, Sarah; a number of great-nieces and great-nephews; and his good friends, Elaine and Vince Ritzert.

In addition to his parents, Drew was preceded in death by his brother, Theodore David Kuehn.

KUEHN — Friends of Andrew W. “Drew” Kuehn, who died Monday, Feb. 12, 2024, will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 429 Center Ave., Butler.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at All Saints Parish, St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Ave., Butler, with the Rev. John Baver officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Butler Catholic School, 515 E. Locust St., Butler, PA 16001.
