Zinkhann

Chad Arthur Zinkhann, 47, of Butler Township, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024.

He was born June 19, 1976 in Butler, the son of Sharon L. (Hackbarth) Zinkhann and the late Arthur E. Zinkhann.

Chad enjoyed the calming nature of the water and loved to fish. He was a gifted musician and worked with Royaltone Studios in California as a sound engineer. He most recently worked as an insurance agent at Zinkhann Financial in Butler for the last 15 years. Above all, Chad was a kindhearted soul and a loving father. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Sharon L. Zinkhann; his son, River Arken Zinkhann, and the mother of his son, Kristy (Schultz) Zinkhann; his brother, Travis Zinkhann and his wife, McKenna; his nieces and nephews, Bentley, Baylor and Banks; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur E. Zinkhann.

ZINKHANN — A gathering of friends and family of Chad Arthur Zinkhann, who died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024, will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER OF CONNOQUENESSING TOWNSHIP, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.

A time to share memories of Chad will be held at 3 p.m., immediately following the gathering at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Chad’s honor to a charity of your choosing.
