Raymond Hoffman Jr.
Raymond A. Hoffman Jr., 67, of Butler, passed away at home surrounded by family on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024.
He was born on Feb. 17, 1956, in Pittsburgh, to his late parents.
Ray was a devoted husband to Margie and a loving father to Amy and Zachary. He adored his grandchildren, Kaiden, Henry and Charlie; as well as his great-grandchildren, Kingsley and Bailer. Ray was always happiest around his family.
In his spare time, Ray enjoyed being a part of Scouts BSA. He found joy in leading young Scouts and helping them develop important life skills. Ray's dedication to the organization was evident in the dozens of Scouts who earned their Eagle Awards with his mentorship. He also was instrumental in the founding of a new all-girls troop when Scouts BSA opened up enrollment to girls.
Ray will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was a man who certainly will never be forgotten, no matter how hard you try.
“It was nice havin’ ya, Ray!”
