James Gray
James A. Gray, 86, of Mars, passed away on Wednesday morning, Feb. 7, 2024, in the comfort of his home.
Born in Tarentum on April 9, 1937, he was the son of the late Andrew P. and Anna McCaslin Gray.
A 1955 graduate of Mars High School, he had served in the U.S. Army during peacetime.
Jim had been a CPA at Gray and Houston Accounting Services.
He was a member and deacon at Old Union Presbyterian Church.
Jim enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara L. Davidson Gray, whom he married on Nov. 5, 1999; two daughters, Pamela Norris (Rod) of Freedom and Linda Bair (Denny) of Virginia; two stepdaughters, Kimberly Novak (Robert) of Portersville and Marcy Eichenauer (Barry) of Callery; a stepson, Todd Mincer (Kim) of Butler; a stepdaughter-in-law, Michelle Mincer of Callery; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; 20 stepgrandchildren; and 22 stepgreat-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Elaine Brewer of Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Tammy Burk; a stepson, Robert Mincer; and a stepgrandson, Daniel Novak.
GRAY — A celebration of life for James A. Gray, who died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024, is being planned and will be announced.
Memorials may be made to Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars, PA 16046.
