Christopher J. Toy, 31, of Butler, passed away Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024, at his home.

He was born July 29, 1992, in Butler, the son of Daniel R. Toy and Karen L. (Reed) Toy.

He was a student in South Butler County School District and graduated in 2012 from Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School. He studied information technology and computer network systems and graduated from ITT Technical School with an associate degree in specialized technology. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and helping others. He always had several projects going. He enjoyed repairing computers, small appliances, tools and small engines. He was a member of Emmanuel Heilman Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his parents, of Butler; a brother, Nicholas Toy of Butler; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

TOY — Friends of Christopher J. Toy, who died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024, will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Thursday at YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler. Pastor Eric Damon will officiate.

Interment will be in Emmanuel Heilman Lutheran Church Cemetery, Ford City.
