Patricia Ann Wright, known affectionately as Pat to her friends and family, left this world Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, at the age of 90. Born on June 13, 1933, in Butler, Pat was a beacon of love and kindness to all who knew her. She passed away peacefully in Mars.

Pat was the beloved daughter of John W. Broderick and Mae Broderick (Ack), who preceded her in death, as did her brother John “Jack” Broderick; her devoted husband, George Richard Wright; her cherished daughter, Tricia Louise Voelzke (Wright) and husband, John; and her adored son, David Martin Wright.

She is survived by her son, Richard Michael Wright and wife, Valerie, and her granddaughters, Katie Ann Wright and Melissa Louise Wright.

A proud alumna of Butler High School, Pat's professional life was marked by her role as a personal secretary to the president of MSA in Myoma, Pa. Her impeccable work ethic and warm personality made her a respected figure in her professional community. Beyond her professional achievements, Pat's musical talents routinely graced many Sunday services where she played the organ with passion and grace at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Gibsonia and First English Lutheran Church in her hometown of Butler.

Pat's life was a symphony of love played out in her interests and daily actions. She had a profound love for playing the piano and pipe organs, a passion that was only matched by the joy she found in tending to her beautiful flower gardens. As a devoted and loving housewife, Pat created a home filled with warmth and care, and as a mother, she was nothing short of wonderful.

Pat's life was a testament to the beauty of simplicity and the power of love. Her memory will be cherished and celebrated by all who were fortunate enough to have been part of her journey. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness that will continue to inspire those she touched.

As we bid farewell to Patricia Ann Wright in this life, we take comfort in knowing that her life was a well-composed piece, full of harmony, love and grace. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten, as her melody continues to play in the hearts of those she loved.
