Main Street view
I have lived in Butler County and city for 65 years, and feel Butler is a nice small city. As a rule, the Main Street is clean and the merchants keep their store fronts clean and up to date. The resurrection of the old Penn Theater is exciting.
But as I drive through town, I can't help but look at the unsightly Dollar General store with its papered over front windows. It really gives the area a downtrodden look. I don't understand the other merchants being satisfied with this derelict look.
I would appreciate some attention by the city regarding this issue to help our fine city look its best.
