Central Electric Cooperative is offering high school students a chance to visit D.C.

Central Electric Cooperative — based out of Parker — is inviting high school juniors to participate in a free, leadership-focused trip to Washington, D.C from June 16 to 21.

Students will join participants from co-ops around the country for this educational trip, during which they will explore Washington, D.C.’s many museums, monuments and memorials.

Participants will visit Capitol Hill for a guided tour of the Capitol Building and a meeting with their elected representative during which they can ask questions, discuss issues affecting their community and learn about the work done on Capitol Hill.

All high school juniors who reside in a home receiving electric service from Central Electric Cooperative are eligible to apply by completing the application at www.central.coop. Applications must be submitted by Feb. 2.
