Nancy (Burr) Harrison, a cherished soul known for her humor and friendliness, passed away on Monday, Dec. 25, 2023, at the age of 68, in Beaver. She was born on April 5, 1955, in Butler.

Nancy was a graduate of Seneca Valley High School and furthered her education at Butler County Community College. Her academic achievements were complemented by her service to her country as an Army veteran. After her military service, she dedicated years of her life to the VA Medical Center of Pittsburgh. In her personal life, she loved her dogs and enjoyed reading.

Surviving family members include four brothers, Howard, Donald, Kenneth (Kathy) and Timothy (Lisa); a sister, Marie McCullough (Joseph); three grandchildren, Zachariah, Angel and Timiah; and two great-grandchildren, Saint and Silas.

Nancy was preceded in death by her son, Nehemiah Burr; and her youngest brother, Dennis Burr.

Nancy will be profoundly missed, but the echoes of laughter and the imprints of her kindness will never fade.

HARRISON — There will be no services for Nancy (Burr) Harrison, who died Monday, Dec. 25, 2023.

Arrangements are under the direction of SZAL FUNERAL HOME, 238 Helen St., McKees Rocks.
