Independence Health System welcomes new physician
Independence Health System announced Jan. 4 that Alexys Allen, M.D., will join both the Primary Care and Women’s Care Associates in Butler.
Allen received her medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine and completed a three-year residency in family medicine at Forbes Hospital-Allegheny Health Network.
“I am delighted to work in a place that fosters my desire to care for the entire family through all stages of life, including infancy, childhood, youth, pregnancy, adulthood, geriatrics, and end-of-life care,” Allen said.
Allen is accepting new patients at Butler Family Medicine, 116 Woody Drive, where she will provide a broad range of comprehensive primary health care services to patients from infancy into adulthood.
She is also accepting new patients at Women’s Care Associates at 129 Oneida Valley Road, Summit Township.
