Richard J. “Dick” Diamond II, 76, of Renfrew, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2023, at West Penn Hospital.

Born July 9, 1947, in Butler, he was the son of Richard J. Diamond and Juanita Rearick Diamond.

Dick was retired from USX at Clairton Works, where he worked as an electrician. He previously worked as a coal miner for 25 years. He was a member of Pollock Lodge 502 F&AM, Tarentum. Dick enjoyed fishing, reading, listening to oldies, dancing and traveling. There wasn’t a thing he couldn’t fix. He was very proud of the accomplishments of his children and especially enjoyed time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife, Beverly (Miller) Diamond, whom he married June 17, 1967; his children, Rachelle Diamond of Saxonburg, Kristin Barner of Butler, Kelley (Attila) Diamond Nyilas of Cranberry Township and Richard J. (Yukako Ishimaru-Diamond) Diamond of Edinburg, Pa.; and five grandchildren, Darin Barner, Chase Valles, Lenna Valles, Cooper Diamond and Carter Diamond.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

DIAMOND — Friends of Richard J. “Dick” Diamond II, who died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2023, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. A masonic service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
