WINFIELD TWP — Supervisors approved a budget for 2024 at their final meeting of 2023 on Thursday night.

The township expects revenues to exceed expenditures by $225,733.60 in 2024, with revenues expected to reach $925,952 against projected expenditures of $700,218.40. The vast majority of projected revenue is expected to come from taxes, with $529,500 coming from Act 511 “Enabling Act” taxes.

There was barely a quorum for the meeting, as two of the three members of the board of supervisors — Michael Robb and Glenn Nagle — could not attend Thursday night. However, Robb participated by cellphone, and chairman Matthew Klabnik was present.

The rest of the agenda was tabled until the next meeting, which is scheduled for Jan. 25.
