Prokopchak

Gregory Prokopchak fell asleep in the Lord on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2023, at UPMC hospital in Pittsburgh after suffering a head injury and complications from ongoing health issues.

Greg was 42 years old. He was a great auto body repair specialist and auto mechanic, and worked at several different shops in the Butler area over the past 24 years. Greg had his own shop on Bluff Street for a brief time.

He is survived by his younger brothers, Eric and Robert; sons, Seth, Nick and Zach; and parents, David and Patricia.

He was an organ donor, and his body was donated for scientific research and education.

A memorial was held at Saints Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Lyndora on Sept. 10, 2023.

Greg was greatly loved by his family and will be missed.
