Carol J. Frank, 78, of Middlesex Township, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2023.

Born in Pittsburgh on March 3, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Frances Comer Mayer.

Carol was the longtime manager of Lakevue North Golf Course, where she worked for more than 40 years. She enjoyed playing cards, bowling, cooking, swimming in her younger years, cheering on the Steelers and, most of all, getting her friends and family together — especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Carol was the loving mother of Regis Frank (Renee), Denise Zwigart, Ronald Frank, Keith Frank (Jennifer) and Dana Leatham (Jamie); sister of Lorraine Denk (Raymond “Bo”), Eddie Mayer, Audrey Kotchey, Maura Fitzwilliams (David “Squigy”) and the late Roy and Shirley Mayer; dear grandmother of Madison, Maison, Matthew, Zachary, Ashley, Nick, Karsyn, Cooper, Samantha, James, Ellie, Jackson and the late Austin Jacob “AJ”; and great-grandmother of Julianne, Henry and Graham.

She also was preceded in death by her former husband, Regis B. Frank; and her fiancé, Mark Cloherty.

FRANK — Friends of Carol J. Frank, who died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2023, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. Blessing services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
