Joan “Joni” Jewart, 64, of Butler, passed away on Monday, Dec. 11, 2023.

She was born in Butler, on July 17, 1959, to the late Richard Sr. and Elizabeth (Hudak) Logan.

After graduating in 1977 from Butler High School, Joan worked in customer service for numerous restaurants including Dairy Queen, Millers Meats and Wendy’s. She was known for being loving, caring, the best sister, a great cook and loving her two cats. Joan loved scratch-off tickets, watching the Steelers and older TV shows. She was loved and will be forever missed.

Joan was the sister of Barbara Pickerd, Richard Logan Jr. and David Logan. She is also survived by a niece, Miriah Logan; nephew, Richard Logan III; and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Larry Jewart Jr.

JEWART — Services for Joan “Joni” Jewart, who died Monday, Dec. 11, 2023, will be held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Butler County Humane Society.
