Albert Stultz
Albert Taylor Stultz, 87, of Butler, died peacefully at home on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2023, surrounded by friends and family.
He was born in McKees Rocks, on May 9, 1936, to William W. and Elsie Elizabeth (Taylor) Stultz. He was the fourth of five children. Albert attended Espe Elementary School and Perry High School. At age 18, he bought a tractor-trailer and drove for Moore Fletcher for a few years. He then opened the North Hills Auto Parts store in Wexford with partner Dave McClelland. After his partner’s death, Albert ran the business for many years.
He married Mary Jean Hunter in 1958. They had two sons, Perry Robert Stultz and Albert Taylor Stultz. He was later married to Gloria Weinel Richwalls.
Albert was also involved in the North Hills Masonic Lodge 716 and Jester’s Court 2, where he was proud to be a longtime member.
He is survived by his son Bert Stultz, and Bert’s wife, Kathy; and four grandchildren, Taylor, Hayley, Hunter and Thomas. He is also survived by his sister, Ann, and husband, Robert, of Connecticut; along with beloved nieces and nephews. Albert was a magnet for people and had legions of friends who will mourn his passing.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, James and Robert; his sister, Jean; and his son, Perry Robert Stultz.
