Virtual ‘Paint & Sip’ to benefit free patient care fund

The Myasthenia Gravis Association of Western Pennsylvania will hold its fourth annual Virtual Holiday Paint & Sip Celebration to benefit the association’s free patient support services.

The online event will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7.

For a $50 donation, participants will receive a link to the event, the supplies to create their own snowflake inspired artwork, and two bottles of wine from Kavic Winery in Carnegie.

Art therapist Kristy Walter will lead the artwork portion of the event, while Michael and Patricia Kavic will lead the wine tasting.

A cookie exchange and virtual reindeer races are available for additional fees.

Myasthenia gravis is an autoimmune disorder that causes extreme muscle weakness and fatigue. There is no known cause or cure.

To register, contact the association at mgaoffice@mgawpa.org or by calling 412-566-1545.
