“Let’s Serve Cheese” was the title of the first-place winners at the future homemakers competition in December 1970, and it was created by the Future Homemakers at Knoch High School.

The team demonstrated the making of fondue for the competition at Slippery Rock Area Senior High School. A full-day showcase that was also attended by teams from Mohawk High School and Ford City Junior High School.

The team earned a $50 cash prize, provided by West Penn Power Company and Pennsylvania Power Company.
