Socks for Seniors and its volunteers have one priority every holiday season — to bring holiday cheer along with a pair of new socks the elderly in the community. The annual campaign to collect socks runs until Dec. 10 at seven drop-off locations in the Butler County area.

The Socks for Seniors program benefits those living alone and in nursing homes as well as seniors who are homeless, according to a news release from the program.

The drop-off locations include Snyder Excavating at 102 Pry Road, West Sunbury; Missing Links Brewery, 891 Evans City Road, Connoquenessing Township; Butler Township Municipal Building, 290 S. Duffy Road; Beer Garden Sports Bar & Grille, 2399 Oneida Valley Road, Washington Township; Rock Ann Haven, 141 Greenwood Drive, Butler Township; Fast and Fair Auto Repair, 210 Spring St., Butler; and Seibel’s Auto Warehouse, 230 Buffalo St., Freeport.

Some locations have a drive-through drop box, and others have their boxes indoors.
