Stewart

Daniel L. Stewart, 63, of Clintonville, passed away Monday, Nov. 20, 2023, at his home.

Dan was born Jan. 8, 1960, in Butler, to the late Donald and Margaret “Peggy” Stewart.

Dan graduated from Peabody High School. He last worked at PSC Metals in Slippery Rock as a heavy equipment operator. Earlier in life, Dan loved to hunt with his family and friends. He enjoyed woodworking and especially his model trains. He devoted rooms to his model trains. He was an avid muzzle loader builder.

Loved ones to cherish his memory are his children, Amanda Preaux and her husband, Mark, and Samantha Long; stepchildren, Tesha Parker and Tim (Holly) Barr; his brothers, Dickie (Beth) Stewart and Donald “Earl” (Tammy) Stewart; a sister, the Rev. Lorrie Ghering-Burick (Daniel); and his grandchildren, Julian, Eli and Mia. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Shari.
