Police reports
The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts.
Oct. 19 — Richard Coddington, 57, of Butler was charged with felony counts of escape and flight to avoid apprehension and misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance and disorderly conduct after he allegedly fled on foot from a traffic stop at the intersection West Birch and West Cunningham streets in Butler. Police said he had a small amount of suspected crack cocaine and four stamp bags of suspected heroin. He was being held in the county prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.
Sept. 22 — Alan McDonald, 30, of Chicora was charged with trademark counterfeiting, theft and receiving stolen property after police responded to a report of someone using a counterfeit bill to make a purchase at the Dollar General on Chicora Road in Donegal Township.
