Frederick E. Roxberry Jr., 72, of Slippery Rock, passed away on Friday, Nov. 17, 2023, at Butler Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness.

Born April, 21, 1951, in Grove City, Fred was the son of the late Frederick and Margery Roxberry.

Fred was a graduate of Moniteau High School. After high school, Fred served in the Army, he then worked as a truck driver, working locally driving a dump truck.

On March 19, 2001, Fred married Lorri Buck, who survives.

Fred enjoyed watching NASCAR, the Steelers, spending time with family and his dog, Oscar, and collecting Zippo lighters.

Along with his wife, Fred is survived by his son, Frederick “Rocky” Roxberry, and his wife, Christie, of New Castle; a stepdaughter, Terie Kelly of Lake Milton, Ohio; a stepson, Jeremy Kelly, and his wife, Emily, of Ellwood City; his grandchildren, Kaytlyn Roxberry of Illinois, Claryssa Roxberry of Arizona, Haylie Voorhees of Pittsburgh, Amber Kirkwood of New Castle, Joey Robinson, Olivia Robinson, Nate Robinson, Jesse Fleeger, Connor Wallace and Jase Kelly; his great-grandchildren, Kali, Dawson, Kayleigh, Austin, Liam and one on the way. Also surviving are a sister, Linda Phipps, and her husband, Lee, of Stoneboro.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents and two nephews.

ROXBERRY — The family of Frederick E. Roxberry Jr., who died Friday, Nov. 17, 2023, will welcome friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at JAMISON-MCKINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville. Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will take place at the Prairie Cemetery in Harrisville.
