Police reports

The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts.

State police, Butler

June 13 — A 16-year-old boy from Erie was accused of slapping Joshua Hile, 26, of Bradford in the face at Summit Academy.

Oct. 2 — An unknown suspect tried to use the identification of Randall Parry of Evans City to open accounts online. Police ask anyone with information about the incident to call the station at 724-284-8100.

Oct. 8 — Paul Brinker, 61, of Slippery Rock was charged with simple assault, reckless endangerment and strangulation, and Jacob Trufley, 31, of Parker was charged with reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and harassment following a disturbance just before 11 a.m. at a home on Kelly Lane in Bruin.

Oct. 13 — Charges are pending against a 16-year-old girl from Chicora for bringing three cans of beer to Karns City Area Jr./Sr. High School in her backpack.

Oct. 22 — Two unknown suspects used an electronic skimmer on a lottery machine at Poo’s Place of Skill Games on Freeport Road in Summit Township to trick the machine into giving them cash credits, which they used to win $1,388.
