Dietrich

George E. Dietrich, 79, of Prospect, died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2023, at Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.

George was born Jan. 7, 1944, in Butler, and was the son of George T. and Maude Fisher Dietrich. He was a drill operator in the mining business and had also worked at Pullman Standard in Butler and was a self-employed auto painter.

Survivors include Karen Kniess Dietrich, whom he married Nov. 27,1963; one son, Michael (Sally) Dietrich of Butler; one daughter, Carrie Lavorini of Butler; one sister, Diane (Tom) Brenneman of Butler; four grandchildren, Brooke, Becca, Jocelyn and BG; and seven great-grandchildren.

George was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Frankie Dietrich; and one sister, Ida Cousins.

DIETRICH — There will be no public visitation and funeral services will be private for George E. Dietrich, who died Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2023.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice House, 146 Neely School Road, Wexford, PA 15090.
