PennDOT response time unacceptable
I am very disappointed in PennDOT. Per the paper, it took two hours to respond to the fire on Interstate-79 at Route 422 (Oct. 4, Page 8). If that had been the group that my husband worked for 27 years, they would have been called and there within minutes.
All they had to do was call one person and the group would have been notified that they were needed. My husband was called out at all hours for different things, especially during the winter hours.
I feel they should have a better plan for disasters, especially since there was a PennDOT garage very close by that trouble.
