The North Country Trail Association will hold a Trail Adopter Workshop and short hike at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, at Jennings Environmental Education Center, 2951 Prospect Rd., Slippery Rock.

Lauren Kenndy-Little, the association’s trail coordinator, will give a presentation on trail adoption in the classroom at Jennings.

After the presentation, Kennedy-Little will give a hands-on demonstration outside the education center regarding what it means to be a trail adopter.

Those in attendance will then join in a short hike to put to use the lessons learned at the workshop.

The association asks those who attend to bring a pair of work gloves and a pruner or lopper tool if possible.
