Police Reports
The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:
Oct. 17 — Brittany M. Smith, 34, of Butler, was charged with two counts of felony theft. Police said she failed to make three deposits while employed at Pita My Shawarma.
Oct. 12 — Carmen Zambrano, 78, of Glenshaw, was charged with two counts of felony theft. Police said he left Home Depot with two tools without paying for them.
Oct. 11 — Kevin C. Humble, 58, of Cranberry Township, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him Oct. 1 on Route 19. Police said a field sobriety test showed he was impaired; a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.264%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
Oct. 11 — Layla J. Kent, 30, of Canal Fulton, Ohio, was charged with misdemeanor communications to 911. Police said she contacted 911 dispatch asking to speak to an officer 31 times in a month.
Oct. 16 — Patrick M. Norris, 51, of Moon Township, was charged with misdemeanor bad checks. Police said he wrote a check with insufficient funds.
