Online registration for the highly-anticipated 2024 Can-Am Police-Fire Games will open at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 30, at ButlerCanAm2024.com. Athletes from various first responder groups are invited to register and begin planning their experience.

The competition also welcomes the spouses and children age 18 and up of first responders to compete, making the games an opportunity for athletes and their families to connect with the first responder community at large.

The Can-Am Police-Fire Games is a multisport, Olympic-style event featuring traditional sports and competitions that test skills first responders use in their work, according to an Oct. 27 news release from the Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau.

The games have competitions in fire and rescue, law enforcement, emergency medical service, Homeland Security, Border Patrol, corrections officers and other categories for first responders and with their spouses and children 18 and older.

The games will take place from July 15 to July 21 next year. Early registration is encouraged, because spots for certain events are limited and are expected to fill up quickly, the news release said.
