Cranberry Township will a host a cart replacement event Saturday, Nov. 4, for its recycling and yard-waste carts.

With many of the township’s carts nearing two decades of use, the event will offer free replacements from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the public works building, 20729 Route 19.

Blue-top recycling carts and green-top yard-waste carts manufactured between 2004 and 2008 are eligible for replacement. The age of the carts can be identified via the first two digits of the serial number on the front of the cart. Existing carts must be turned in before receiving a new cart.
