Boscov’s stores are hoping to raise $3 million for charity through the Friends Helping Friends event Wednesday, Oct. 18.

The event offers a 25% off shopping pass to anyone who donates $5 to a participating nonprofit. Participants can also register to win a $100 Boscov’s gift card.

Store hours will be extended to 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. for the event.

“This event has developed into a wonderful opportunity for both our customers and nonprofit partners and we believe the $3 million goal is realistic,” said Jim Boscov, chairman and CEO.
