SRU’s Dorsey named Athlete of Week

SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University running back Khalid Dorsey has been named PSAC West Football Offensive Athlete of the Week.

Dorsey had 15 carries for 123 yards and three touchdowns in SRU’s 32-21 win over Indiana (Pa.) on Saturday night. He became the first Rock running back to run for three touchdowns in a game since Wes Hills in 2018.

Rock’s Lonjard gets PSAC soccer honor

SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University men’s soccer defender Gabin Lonjard has been named PSAC West Men’s Soccer Athlete of the Week.

The freshman recorded three points in two games last week, including the first goal and assist of his career.

Knoch grad Fraser gets football honors

GROVE CITY — Knoch graduate and Grove City College senior receiver Scott Fraser has been named Presidents’ Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

Fraser caught eight passes for 99 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday’s 31-24 victory over Washington & Jefferson. He caught the game-tying and go-ahead touchdown passes in the fourth quarter.
