Missing Jefferson Township man died in a vehicle Monday, medical examiner office says
A Jefferson Township man, who was reported missing Saturday, Sept. 23, was found unresponsive in a vehicle on Monday in O’Hara Township, Allegheny County, according to the Office of the Allegheny County Medical Examiner.
Richard Rhine, 56, of Jefferson Township, was found dead, state police announced Tuesday. Trooper Bertha Cazy said no foul play is suspected in his death.
The Office of the Allegheny County Medical Examiner said it is still investigating Rhine’s death and the cause.
The initial report by state police said Rhine could have been endangered while missing.
